This band was great. Unfortunately, there were no enough care to release them as they deserved in Brazil. I was thirteen when I bought their first album, "Silverhead" in a record shop in Brasilia, where I lived in the 1970's. I really loved this album at first audition, although my friends simply have usually ignored the existence of the band. They only knew Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabath, Uriah Heep. But to me, the first album of Silverhead is so great as are Led Zeppelin IV, Machine Head or Paranoid.

I see Mr. Hughes is wearing a Fillmore East shirt. My uncle, who is like a brother to me and is around the same age as Glenn, also went to the Fillmore East. He saw Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix there. I was too young to attend these shows, but I heard quite a bit about them from my uncle. Since we grew up together in the same house, I listened to whatever he listened to. Deep Purple was definitely music we both enjoyed listening to!

I knew Jon obviously from Deep Purple and Sam from Pink Floyd. But together they are something compltly different altogether, superb in every way. The great pity is that Jon has past and Sams voice has failed. A crying shame.

Saw this and couldn’t wait to hear it. Brooker was no slouch all the way to the end. This is like plagerizing the Bible. I think he pulled it off. It’s different but listened a second then third time. I think he try’s to hard in a couple spots but overall just Wow.
